Victorian Arts & Crafts Brass Door Stop Door Porter by William Tonks & Sons

This is a super quality late 19th Century Victorian Arts & Crafts antique brass door stop / door porter, unmarked but A known design manufactured by By William Tonks & Sons. It has been suggested by some this may be a design by Thomas Jeckyll as the bird and flowers are very similar to some of his designs. The domed shaped foot with 3 Panels of flowers / bird and applied copper roundels/rivets. Very well cast finished and detailed. The base with cast iron insert for weight.
