Victorian Ball Fob 12ct Gold Filled Pocket Watch Chain Long Antique Fob

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 12ct gold filled (professionally tested and is known in the U.K as rolled gold) very fancy pocket watch chain extra long ball fob with stamped swivel dog clip. (Would also make a Ladies very unusual pendant). C~1890's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 13cm / 5" total length and weighs a very respectable 11.4 grams. Two strands of bright, crisp roller links to centre which have an attractive daisy flower finial to each end. Original secure swivel dog clip (operates correctly and as such can be easily be clipped onto a watch chain) to one end which is stamped (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche) with the makers initials; T*H - Thomas Hopwood (one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era, based in Birmingham, England). Fabulous large ball fob to the other end (measures 1.8cm x 1.5cm) which is beautifully adorned all around with elaborate scroll work and leaves, having a highly polished little finial to base. Excellent bright clean condition with just a tiny bit of extremely light overall wear/ patina and fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
