Victorian Bangle Sterling Silver 1890s Antique Bracelet 7" Length 33.9 Grams

Fabulous Victorian Ladies Sterling silver (stamped and professionally XRF tested) Antique wide and extremely ornate bracelet / bangle. C~1890's. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7" / 18cm internal circumference, 2.6cm width and weighs a heavy 33.9 grams. Wonderful oval shaped crisp Sterling silver bangle with a very attractive 'pie crust' detail to top and bottom and is beautifully adorned to the front with an elaborate, engine turned decoration of leaves and scroll work (reflects the light beautifully) with a daisy flower to centre all sat upon a bright engine turned background. The back is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Secure 'cockrel combe' catch which opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click and the hinge to the opposite side is true and firm with absolutely no play. Cleary and boldly stamped in two places to the inside; SS (Sterling silver). Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no damage, wear or indentations (looks to have never been worn) and just a few extremely fine overall little surface scratches / micro bit of patina (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
