My wife and I have been in the Antiques trade for over 28 years initially in Scotland and for the past few years the Cotswolds. We began trading at fairs as far afield as Edingburgh, Swinderby, Kempton, Ardingly and Detling to name but a few.
For many years from its inception in 1998 until 2018 successfully trading at The Scottish Antique Centre Doune ,selling a broad range of stock with a particular passion for Arts and Crafts furniture and metalware.

Description
This Victorian Berlin style fine woolwork tapestry depicts the biblical scene of “Moses in the Bulrushes.” It is framed in a giltwood frame and dates to approximately 1870. The tapestry is crafted from wool and reflects the design and craftsmanship of the mid-Victorian period. The item originates from Britain and is classified under miscellaneous needlework and sewing.
Presented in good antique condition with some minor marks, the original giltwood and stucco frame with minor knocks and later gilt covered.
