Victorian Brass Dog Inkwell. Marble Spaniel Ink Stand. Paperweight C1880

This handsome Victorian antique desk inkwell which dates from c1880 has a heavy brass top which is in the form of a spaniel dog's head on a round marble base. This Victorian inkwell is a very nice quality antique piece with the dog having beautiful detail, glass eyes and brass hinge. A fine quality antique desk accessory that looks great displayed on a desk or used as a paperweight and would make a wonderful gift for a dog lover. Date: c1880. Dimensions: Diameter of base: 11 cm (3 1/4"). Height: 12 cm (4 3/4"). Weight: 1182 g. Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age.
