Stunning Victorian lignum vitae hard wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane. The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1897 and makers mark for Charles Cooke. Also stamped with the retailers mark for Brigg of London. The silver collar is engraved WDM From CSM 1897. The shaft is lignum vitae and as you can see in the pictures the colour contrast in the wood is exceptional. It also makes this a really strong cane with a good weight. The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
