The top is supported on a well-proportioned turned and baluster column, raised on a carved quadriform base with swept feet, each leg enriched with carved detail and terminating in shaped feet. The base is united by a central finial, adding both strength and decorative interest. The table displays excellent colour and patination throughout, with the burr walnut veneer showing particularly attractive figuring.
