The tabletop is centred by a beautifully matched burr walnut field, framed by an elaborate inlaid border featuring scrolling foliate motifs, all finished with a well-defined moulded edge. The table is raised on an impressive tripod base, formed from boldly carved cabriole legs with deep acanthus scroll carving, united by a richly carved central boss and shaped stretcher. The legs terminate in scroll feet fitted with discreet castors, allowing ease of movement while maintaining excellent stability.
