The garnet is enclosed within a substantial gold bezel setting and surrounded by a halo of sixteen natural pearls, each displaying a soft creamy white hue and wonderful lustre. The cluster is beautifully finished with a finely detailed castellated border and raised scalloped basket gallery beneath, demonstrating the quality craftsmanship associated with late Victorian jewellery.
