Victorian Carpenters Trunk

A very sturdy carpenters work trunk fitted with two internal drawers and externally with two heavy duty carving handles. These trunks would be very heavy when full of tools and accessories and would most likely have been moved around and hand carts or large sack trucks. This piece is part of a large stock of hand decorated antique furniture which we have purchased from the estate of a deceased sign writer who specialised in decorating genuine antique furnishings. He also dealt in genuine sign written pieces but to be sure we are saying that they are all hand written later.
