The chairs stand on turned front legs with swept rear legs, giving them a light yet refined silhouette typical of the period. All six chairs retain their original upholstered seats, finished in a decorative floral fabric which remains clean, well-presented and comfortable. The frames are solid and stable, making the set perfectly suitable for everyday dining use as well as for a more formal setting. This is a well-matched set with consistent colour, form and proportions increasingly difficult to find in this condition.
