The card case is covered with engraved Mother of Pearl tiles.
Each of the tiles both back and front are engraved with a variety of floral sprays and scrolls.
The push button used to release the lid and the hinge are in working order.
Dating to about 1860 the case remains in good used condition and measures 4" x 3".
