Victorian Extending Dining Table with 2 Leaves
The Wind Out Table is a well known Victorian Invention, it extends the table by means of a winding mechanism which is operated with its own handle, the table opens in the centre, you insert the leaf and voilà you have a nice big family size table. This is the sturdiest form of extending table you will find.
The table has a beautiful patina which has mellowed with age, the table legs are turned and have brown ceramic casters.
This is a good solid table it has been cleaned and waxed, it comes with 2 leaves and winding handle, the winding mechanism is good. All in all it is a good piece.
When fully extended, the table is 83” long and 44” wide, it is 29.5” high and 24” under knee height The table will seat 12 Diners.
Without the leaves the table is 55” long and 44” wide.
