Fairings were made in the 1800's as souvenirs either sold or given as prizes at the popular fairs enjoyed at that time. They were made in Germany, but were a very British tradition.
This one is A cat, a cat showing a couple getting into bed with a cat jumping on the mans back. This is classified as Grade B as relates to rarity, A being the most common. This is a genuine original dating to the 1890's. The top is cracked see photos
