Fairings were little momentos that the Victorians would buy or win when visiting Fairs. Made throughout the second half of the 19th century, they were hand made and all hand painted in Germany, but were a very British tradition.
This one is entitled Five o'clock Tea and represents a tea party for 5 cats. They were well made with lovely detail
