Victorian Fob 1890s Pocket Watch Chain Big Silver Nickel & Andalusite Spinner Fob

Victorian Gentleman's very unusual and highly impressive Antique silver nickel and Andalusite stone pocket watch chain large spinner fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.7cm height (including the top ring/bail). 2.6cm width, 7mm depth and weighs a respectable 8.8 grams. Wonderful big silver nickel half moon shaped mount (has a soft golden hue when caught in certain light) which is beautifully adorned to both sides with slightly raised intertwined flowers, leaves and scroll work set upon an attractive engine tuned background. Securely held with a wide silver nickel chamfered 'drum case' is the most wonderful natural bevel edge Andalusite stone to one side (measures 1.8cm diameter) which has an amazing two dimensional optical pleochroism with the matt 'fudge' brown and cream colours to the top complimented by 'caramel', 'ginger' and black colours below. The opposite side has a highly polished, bevel edge jet black onyx stone to centre which again measures 1.8cm diameter. Original secure nickel top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no indentations or wear, just a few extremely tiny 'flea nibbles' to the onyx stone and little overall surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
