Description
A rare and poetic treasure, this late Victorian 15ct gold bangle is a graceful tribute to nature, sentiment, and the quiet luxury of antique craftsmanship. Its delicate openwork design evokes a leafy vine, each leaf set with milky, graduated split pearls that lend a soft, ethereal shimmer - symbols of purity, wisdom, and affection.
Nestled among the pearl-studded foliage are two bezel-set gemstones: a serene pear-cut aquamarine and a rich oval-cut rhodolite garnet. Framed in fine millegrain detail, the aquamarine measures approximately 7 x 5mm, while the garnet measures 4 x 5mm - together creating a harmonious balance of pastel blue and wine-red hues. Whether chosen for their beauty or their birthstone significance - March (aquamarine), January (garnet), and June (pearl) - this bangle makes an especially thoughtful gift.
The bracelet itself is crafted in hollow 15ct gold, stamped accordingly, with a refined knife-edge profile that adds elegance to the form. Weighing approximately 8g, it closes securely with a built-in barrel clasp and retains its original safety chain. Measurements to the outer edge are approximately 64 x 54mm; please enquire for specific fit details.
With a glowing patina and gentle signs of its long life (including minor dents to one end and subtle antique solder marks beneath) the piece remains in beautiful antique condition. These traces of wear are discreet and do not detract from the bracelet’s elegance when worn.
