Victorian J W Benson Coin Case Fob 1890s Silver Nickel Misers Purse Fob

Victorian Gentleman's J.W. Benson silver nickel Antique chunky coin case/misers purse fob to attach to a pocket watch chain. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 6cm height (including the top ring), 4.3cm width, 1.4cm depth and weighs a heavy 28.6 grams. Wonderful J.W. Benson silver nickel fob which is beautifully adorned to both front and back with slightly raised leaves and scroll work set upon a heavily engine turned background. The front carries three spring loaded compartments (all operate correctly) to carry an old an old British one Shilling coin, old 3d (three pence) coin and an old 6d (sixpence) coin. Clearly stamped to one side (within a fancy shield shaped cartouche). J.W.B. Made In England and is clearly stamped to the other side; Best Nickel Plated. Original big and extremely robust silver nickel top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just little bit of wear to the high points (mainly to the back), two or three very light indentations to the sides (so small are not showing up in the photographs but mentioning for accuracy) and a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
