Victorian Ladies Long Guard Muff Chain 1890s Brass Foxtail Link 62" Length 55.6g

Victorian Ladies very long and chunky brass (golden blonde) foxtail link Antique guard/muff chain with original dog clip. C~1890's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 158cm / 62" total length and weighs a heavy 55.6 grams. Wonderful and very tactile chunky foxtail links (measure 4mm diameter) which have a lovely fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully. Original secure brass dog clip to one end (operates correctly) and big feature round link to the opposite end. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear, kinks or damage and just a tiny (micro) bit of overall patina / little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
