Victorian Mahogany Oval Centre Table with Crossbanded Top

This is a very attractive small centre table dating to the Victorian era. Made of mahogany it is modestly sized and is ideal for a hallway or lounge, perfect for a lamp or a vase of fresh flowers. The table has an oval top edged with crossbanding and the base is set on quadruple turned pillars and cabriole scroll feet finished with white porcelain castors. The wood has a French polished finish which has a nice sheen. Condition This piece is in solid structural condition. There are a few minor cosmetic marks of age and use here and there and some slight fading to the top but nothing too major to spoil its look.
