Description
This is a charming 19th Century antique majolica teapot or kettle styled as a pineapple, which was a popular symbol of friendship and hospitality. The teapot is in very good condition.
Bring a little sunshine into your life with this lovely quirky pineapple teapot!
It has a few areas on the foot that could be chips, or could be a manufacturing flaw, but they are not visible unless you turn the teapot upside down. Other than that there are no chips or cracks that I can see. The lid is a loose fit but appears to match the body. There is no manufacturers mark visible.
measurements
The teapot stands 17.5cm tall and including the spout measures 17.5cm wide.
