Victorian Photograph Fob 1890s Very Large Brass Pocket Watch Chain Antique Fob

Victorian Gentleman's very large and chunky Antique brass photograph fob. (Please excuse the reflections in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Measures; 6cm height (including the top ring), 4cm width, 1cm depth and weighs a heavy 19.9 grams. Highly polished wide brass oval shaped fob with attractive ball finial to base. Retains the two original thick bevel edge glasses (not acrylic) to each side and their original diamond cut retaining rings which reflect the light beautifully. Each glass is held in a secure brass mount, both push in and out of the frame correctly (need a little bit of manual dexterity) and there are two oval shaped pieces of bottle green backing baize behind them (can easily be removed if desired). Also has the original (on glass) photograph of a rather proud Victorian lady which will be included with the fob. Fancy swivel bail and large robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a little bit of overall wear / patina / surface scratches and small 'flea nibbles' to the glasses (showing under eyeglass) commensurate with age.
