Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 9ct Rose Rolled Gold 1890s Albert & Sliding T Bar

Victorian Gentleman's absolutely magnificent and highly impressive 9ct (professionally tested) rose rolled gold (stamped, has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), large traditional chunky curb link Antique pocket watch chain / Albert (by Andreas Daub, Germany) with original dog clips and original sliding T bar. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 34cm / 13 1/4" total length and weighs a heavy 41.1 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional curb links (measure 7mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Robust and well made original matching big secure dog clip to each end which operate correctly. The oval link near to one of the dog clips is clearly stamped to one side; ROLLED GOLD A*D (Andreas Daub, Pforzheim, Germany, one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era, Est 1872). Feature sliding T bar (measures 3.8cm length) which moves up and down the entire length of the chain on its large oval slider link, correctly being stopped at each end by the two dog clips. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with oval link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with no damage and just a little bit of light overall wear / patina (mainly to the T bar) and fine surface scratches commensurate with age.
