Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 9ct Rose Rolled Gold 1890s Albert & T Bar Heavy 47g

Victorian Gentleman's absolutely magnificent and highly impressive 9ct (professionally tested) rose rolled gold (has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), large traditional very chunky curb link Antique pocket watch chain / Albert (by Thomas Hopwood, England) with original big stamped T bar and dog clip. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 29cm / 11 1/2" total length and weighs a heavy 47 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional curb links (measure 7mm width) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Original large T bar to one end (measures 4cm length) which is correctly suspended from a short length of oval link chain. Clearly stamped (within a recessed, oblong shaped cartouche); T*H - Thomas Hopwood, Birmingham, England (one of the leading jewellery manufacturers of the era). Big secure dog clip to the opposite end which operates correctly. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original chunky round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with no damage and just a little bit of extremely light overall wear / patina (showing under eyeglass only) and fine surface scratches commensurate with age.
