Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 9ct Rose Rolled Gold 1890s Double Albert & T Bar

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 9ct (stamped & professionally tested) rose rolled gold (has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional chunky graduated curb link Antique pocket watch chain / Albert with original big stamped T bar and original matching dog clips. C~1890's. Rare now days to find one complete and with all the original fittings - they were often split up and made into Ladies bracelets. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 36cm / 14 1/4" total length and weighs a heavy 28.7 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 6mm width to centre and taper down each length of the chains to 4mm wide) - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Original large T bar to centre (measures 3.6cm length) which is clearly stamped; ROLLED GOLD and carries the makers initials (with a recessed, oblong shaped cartouche); M&G. Big secure original matching dog clip to each end, both of which operate correctly. Excellent bright clean condition with no damage or wear (looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a little bit of extremely light overall patina / fine surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
