Victorian Pocket Watch Chain Fancy Fob 1890s Antique 12ct Rose Gold Filled

Victorian Gentleman's very unusual and highly impressive 12ct (professionally tested) rose gold filled (has a lovely rich pink hue and is known in the UK as rolled gold) Antique pocket watch chain fancy spinner fob. C~1890's. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 2.4cm height (including the top ring), 2.1 width and weighs 3.2 grams. Wonderful half moon shaped mount with attractive coiled wire decoration and engine turning to each side with a slightly raised, scrollwork ball finial to top. Holding securely to base a very unusual oblong shaped chunky plaque (with a 'pie crust' adornment all around) which is decorated to one side (within a recessed cartouche) with a fancy scrolled leaf design. The opposite side is smooth, highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. (The plaque swivels in is mount but is made to display horizontally and not to spin 360 degrees). Original robust 12ct rose gold filled secure top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage just a tiny (micro) bit of very light patina/fine little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
