Victorian Pocket Watch Chain Fob Gilt & Opaline Glass Antique Large 1890s Fob

Victorian Gentleman's very large (huge) and highly impressive golden gilt and opaline glass 'stone' pocket watch chain Antique fancy fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Pocket watch shown is for display/sizing purposes only and NOT included. (Please excuse the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph). Measures; 4.6cm height (including the top ring), 2.3cm width, 1.9cm depth and weighs a very respectable 17.2 grams. Extremely ornate Victorian fancy fob which is beautifully adorned all around with a slightly raised fluting and scrollwork decoration, holding securely to base a large, un-engraved, highly polished, oblong shaped, bevel edge opaline glass 'stone' (with little grey 'ghost' inclusions) which measures 1.8cm x 1.5cm. Very fancy bail with little ball finial and big robust brass top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with a little bit of wear (mainly to one side), this fob would have been proudly suspended on a Victorian Gentleman's pocket watch chain for many a year and just some of overall patina and little surface scratches commensurate with age.
