Victorian Pocket Watch Chain Lorgnettes 1890s 10ct White Gold Filled & Enamel Magnifying Fob

Victorian Gentleman's 10ct white gold filled (professionally tested and known in the UK as rolled gold) with Royal blue and Cardinal red enamel large Antique lorgnettes magnifying glass fob for carrying on a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. C~1890's (could certainly be earlier). Useful item when you are out and about. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Measure; 12cm / 4 3/4" height, 3.7cm glass diameter and weighs a heavy 30.4 grams. Beautifully adorned to the handle with an attractive engine turned geometric and scroll work design incorporating Royal blue and Cardinal red enamel decoration to both sides which is in amazing order with no chips or loss. The bridge is also beautifully adorned with scroll work to both sides with a large daisy flower to centre. Original bevel edge glass lenses (not acrylic) which have great magnification and spring open correctly when the little lever on the handle is pushed down. Big robust end ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain or Ladies guard chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear or damage and just a few very light and fine little surface scratches (not visible to the naked eye) commensurate with age.
