Victorian Rosewood Antique Writing Table
This fine early 19th century Victorian Rosewood Antique Writing Table dates from ca. 1860 and has aged to a lovely warm mellow shade with beautiful charm and character. It has a figured shaped top above a shaped frieze with central concealed drawer, above two turned pedestals, with turned cross stretcher. This fine antique writing table stands on four scrolled splayed legs. The Rosewood has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
