An absolutely stunning ladies, Victorian sterling silver and enamel pocket watch. This beautiful little watch is beautifully enameled on the reverse with blossoms, flowers and a butterfly, in vibrant colours. It is a top wind, pin set, lever watch, fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1885, Jules Nordmann. It is suspended from a gorgeous Victorian silver bow brooch, engraved in the aesthetic manner with foliate and swallows. The brooch is fully hallmarked for renowned silversmith William Manton, 1887, Birmingham assay. White enamel dial, Roman numerals in black with blued steel hands, such a beautiful piece. Condition: Very good used condition overall, some light surface wear, overall patina, some losses to the enamel on the reverse, the watch is ticking and winds well, it stops intermittently so will require a service for optimal performance. As with all timepieces we are unable to guarantee accuracy / reliability and a service is recommended.
