Description
This is a delightful dish with a star cut glass base. This lovely example features a silver rim, with beautifully detailed cherubs in cast silver on both handles. The optic glass reflects beautifully in the light, projecting a mass of swirls. Hallmarked for the master silversmith William Comyns and typical of the late Victorian Art Nouveau style. Designed to be a wine taster, this versatile piece has many alternative uses.

Very good, no splits or dents to silver. There is a very tiny graze to underside of glass foot, which is too unnoticeable to photograph accurately.
