Description
A very nice Victorian antique silver flip lid vesta case with beautifully floral engraving on both sides. Initials engraved to the cartouche.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1885 by Howard James.
Condition is very good, it flip top opens and snaps shut well, the hallmarks are good, striker worn, engraving worn to the sides on the reverse, some surface scratches/marks/dings and usual wear commensurate of age and use.
