Description
An absolutely stunning Victorian silver, Montrose agate and citrine brooch. Made in Scotland around 1880. This style of brooch was made popular by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert after they purchased the Balmoral Estate and rebuilt the castle. The silver brooch has six grey Montrose agates and a beautifully cut cairngorm citrine in the centre. It is in excellent worn condition with no damage to the stones. It would make a great gift.
