Lovely Victorian rosewood and hallmarked silver dress walking stick or cane. Long for it's age hence my description as a dress cane. The silver was assayed in Birmingham as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1893 and makers mark for Thomas William Dee. Lovely decoration to the silver top with a blank cartouche to the centre. The silver collar is also decorated and has a similar blank cartouche. It's also stamped with the makers mark. The ferrule is original and made of brass. It has a small split in it which has been stabilized, always better to keep the original where possible. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 110 cm 39 3/4 inches in length, the pommel is 2.5 cm 1 inch wide and 5 cm 2 inches long.

It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Some bumps to the silver as shown but non of these have caused holes or splits. The shaft is excellent with no damage or repairs.
