Another lovely cane from the collection we're selling, all new to the market as they've been in a private collection for many years. Malacca wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane with a blue lapis ball top. The silver was assayed in Chester as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1896 and makers mark for WH Carrington & Co. Lovely decoration to the silver collar and the graining and colour to the stone are beautiful. The ferrule is original made of brass. Good strong and sturdy stick, perfect for every day use or display. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
It measures 91 cm 35 3/4 inches in length, the pommel is 4.7 cm 1 7/8 inches wide.
