Victorian Walnut Display Bookcase

This is an absolutely stunning piece of Mid Victorian furniture, that could look fantastic in either home or business. Made mostly from solid walnut, with burr walnut veneers to the base. The serpentine fronted base also carries through to the upper shelving. The marble top is fixed and has had two or three repairs sorted out and are now difficult to see. In all of our 60 years in the business we have not come across anything quite like this design and was very likely a special commission. A fine piece of furniture in excellent condition and breaks into two halves for delivery.
