Vintage 0.69ct Sapphire & 0.55ct Diamond 18ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1960

Stunning, fine and impressive vintage 0.69 carat sapphire and 0.55 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold dress ring made by Van Cleef and Arpels; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire ring has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. This organic twist design is embellished with five impressive four-claw yellow gold set round faceted blue sapphires and five four-claw white gold set modern brilliant transitional round cut diamonds. The 18ct yellow gold ring is accented with channelled ridge decoration spanning the anterior surface, replicating the splayed details of a feather. The elevated, flared ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the ring shank. The rim of the shank is signed with the renowned maker's mark, 'Van Cleef Et Arpels' and the serial number '77807'. This exceptional sapphire and diamond cocktail ring is presented in the original white leatherette pouch secured with a white and gold press stud; the exterior of the pouch bears the retailer's mark 'Van Cleef & Arpels Paris'. This Van Cleef and Arpels gold sapphire ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold. This impressive vintage 1960s ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
