Vintage 1.10ct Opal & Diamond 14ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring c.1940

This is an impressive vintage 1.10 carat opal and 0.04 carat diamond, 14 carat yellow gold and 14 carat white gold set dress ring; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery collections. This fine and impressive opal and diamond dress ring has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold with a 14ct white gold setting. The pierced decorated, scrolling design is ornamented with a central collet set cabochon cut 1.10ct opal. The opal is flanked on either side with a single pavé set eight-cut diamond, displayed within a 14ct white gold, millegrain decorated setting. The bifurcated, scrolling shoulders integrate with the main setting and meld with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 14ct gold fineness mark (585). This impressive vintage cocktail ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
