This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire ring has been crafted in platinum. The substantial pierced decorated setting is ornamented with a stunning feature four-claw set 11.51ct cabochon cut star sapphire, accented with a pavé set Dutch cut diamond to each claw. The stunning scrolling oval-shaped setting is embellished with a collet and claw set diamonds, in a combination of Old European and Dutch cuts. The broad wirework style shoulders integrate with the main setting and amalgamate to form a stranded shank. This vintage sapphire ring is hallmarked to the outer surface of the shank with the French maker's mark and platinum mark (dog's head); the composition in platinum indicates the high quality of the piece. This finely crafted vintage 1950's ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
