This impressive brooch displays an impressive feature 1.15ct heart shape ruby, millegrain decorated collet set to the centre of the plain bar. The ruby is encompassed with a scalloped border accented with sixteen pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, completing the design; this brooch aesthetic replicates the form of a Victorian example. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. This bar is hallmarked to the reverse with the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18 karat gold fineness mark (18), London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and date letter for 1968 (n).
