Vintage 13.65ct Zircon & 0.15ct Diamond 18ct Yellow Gold Brooch 1989

Stunning, fine and impressive vintage 13.65 carat zircon and 0.15 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold brooch; part of our diverse gemstone brooch collections. This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with 18ct white gold settings. The brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a flower basket. The basket is comprised of a flared pierced decorated body with rope twist decoration to the handle and rims. The impressive basket design incorporates thirteen individually claw set round faceted cut zircons, ranging in colour and totalling 13.65cts. The spray setting features three individually white gold claw set eight cut diamonds. The five white gold foliate-shaped settings are embellished with a total of fifteen pavé set eight cut diamonds, completing the design. This fine and impressive vintage flower basket brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and catch. This impressive vintage multi-gemstone brooch is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the maker's mark (D&F), the 18ct gold mark (18), the Birmingham Assay Office mark (anchor) and the date letter for 1989 (P).
