Description
Stunning, fine and impressive 1.38 carat ruby, 1.92 carat diamond, 18 carat rose gold and silver set spray brooch; part of our diverse vintage brooch collections This stunning, fine and impressive vintage ruby brooch has been crafted in 18ct rose gold with silver settings. The vintage brooch has been modelled in the form of a stylised bouquet, tied with ribbon. The three conical floral designs are accented with twenty-nine silver pavé set Old European cut diamonds; the rose gold lower portion and stem of each floral design integrates with the main setting. The spray incorporates two stemmed buds, each embellished with two pavé set diamonds to the paired leaf designs, in addition to a four-claw set round faceted cut ruby to the terminal. One side of the brooch is further ornamented with an array of paired leaf designs, incorporating thirteen silver set Old European cut diamonds. The spray design is enveloped with a scrolling ribbon motif, accented with a total of fourteen channel set baguette cut rubies. The brooch secures to the reverse with a double hinged pin fastening. This piece of vintage ruby jewellery has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold and silver. The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
