Vintage 16ct Ceylon Sapphire & 4.95ct Diamond, Platinum Cluster Ring c.1980

A stunning, fine and impressive, large vintage 16 carat Ceylon sapphire and 4.95 carat diamond, platinum cluster style dress ring; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewellery collections. This stunning, fine and impressive vintage sapphire cluster ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated cluster design is ornamented with a stunning feature four-claw set 16ct oval cabochon cut Ceylon sapphire. The sapphire is flanked to the upper and lower portions with ten individually claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The central cluster design is further ornamented to either side with a stepped formation of nine claw set diamonds, in a combination of pear and marquise cuts. The plain elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. This stunning sapphire ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This impressive sapphire engagement ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*. The combination of very high graded diamonds indicates the high quality of the ring.
