Vintage 18ct Gold Diamond and Pearl Drop Earrings 1980s Birmingham Hallmarked

These gorgeous vintage diamond and pearl earrings are a wonderfully elegant design dating to the 1980s. Beautifully crafted in rich 18 carat yellow gold, each earring is set with a lustrous ivory-silver pearl held within a softly rounded, polished white gold frame. A sparkling diamond is bezel-set above the pearl, adding a refined touch of brilliance to the design. The creamy pearls have a deep lustre which contrasts beautifully with the warmth of the yellow gold. Their sculptural circular settings lend the earrings a distinctive late-20th-century character, while remaining classic and extremely wearable. Measuring just 1.3cm long, they sit neatly against the ear and create the appearance of a petite pearl drop without being overly long. They would be equally attractive worn for a special occasion or as an elegant finishing touch to an everyday outfit. The earrings are fitted with posts for pierced ears.
