Description
This 18ct yellow gold signet ring, manufactured by the renowned British firm Henry Griffith & Sons in 1959, is a distinguished example of mid-century masculine jewellery. The square signet cartouche is left blank which was and can be allowed for personalized monogramming or family crest engraving. The design is characterized by its stepped, architectural shoulders that incorporate bold geometric ridging, a stylistic nod to the lingering influence of Art Deco that was popular in post-war British goldsmithing.
