Vintage 2.02ct Sapphire & 0.28ct Diamond, 18k White Gold Brooch 1968

A fine and impressive vintage 2.02 carat sapphire and 0.28 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold floral brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewellery and estate jewellery collections. This fine and impressive vintage sapphire brooch has been crafted in 18k white gold. The pierced decorated setting displays two floral heads ornamented with twenty-four individually four-claw set round faceted cut sapphires; the sapphires arrangements resemble an inflorescence. These stemmed flowers are flanked with plain curvilinear white gold leaves and stems, secured to the lower portion with a splayed ribbon design, creating a tied floral spray design. The asymmetric ribbon design is embellished with fifteen pavé set eight cut diamonds. This vintage sapphire spray brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp fastening. This vintage sapphire and diamond brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the gold guarantee (crown), 18k gold mark (750), Birmingham Assay Office mark (anchor) and date letter for 1968 (T). This impressive vintage diamond brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
