A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 2.16 carat diamond, platinum and 18 karat white gold cocktail watch - boxed; part of our diamond jewellery collection. This stunning, fine and impressive ladies vintage cocktail watch has been crafted in platinum with an 18k white gold strap. This 1940's wristwatch has a circular watch face displaying the maker's mark Cortébert and shock system 'Incabloc', in addition to hour markers denoted by applied silvered darts. This impressive vintage diamond watch is fitted with plain hands and has a ribbed crown/winder. The platinum bezel is ornamented with twenty pavé set eight cut diamonds. The pierced decorated lugs are each accented with four further pavé set diamonds. The impressive articulated line bracelet style strap is embellished with thirty-six diamonds. The 1940's 18k white gold strap secures to the reverse with an integrated push fit clasp and benefits from the added security of a hinged security catch. This Cortébert manual wind wrist watch is fitted with a Swiss made 17 jewels adjusted movement held within a case which has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum, with an 18 karat gold strap. This ladies cocktail watch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report card. This stunning cocktail watch is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit box. This vintage diamond ladies' watch in platinum, epitomises refined craftsmanship and understated luxury. Coveted by collectors and those seeking a distinctive heirloom, it offers both enduring elegance and exceptional rarity. This stunning platinum watch is exceptional quality, set with impressive high colour and clarity graded diamonds displaying a fine white colour and brilliance. The vintage watch is an exceptional gauge of platinum and gold and is in exceptional condition. The movement has been professionally cleaned and serviced and is in full working order. The interior of the box is in exceptional condition, whereas the exterior of the box has some wear in keeping with age; this piece shows little signs of wear and use, determining the piece has remained securely stored within the presentation box. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of diamond jewellery.
