Vintage 2.53ct Ruby and 0.48ct Diamond, 18k Yellow Gold Pendant Circa 1980

A fine and impressive impressive vintage 2.53 carat ruby and 0.48 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive vintage ruby pendant has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The pierced decorated quatrefoil-shaped frame is ornamented with a feature four-claw set 2.53ct oval faceted cut ruby. The lower portion of the yellow gold frame is ornamented with paralleling wirework decoration, creating a scalloped design. The apex of the feature gemstone is embellished with eleven individually four-claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds. This vintage pendant suspends from a contemporary 18k yellow gold 18' curb chain via a tapering bale to the upper border and secures to the reverse with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening. This pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. This vintage gemstone pendant is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
