Vintage 3.02ct Zimbabwe Emerald and 6.88ct Diamond 14k White Gold Brooch Circa 1965

A stunning, fine and impressive 3.02 carat Zimbabwe emerald and 6.88 carat diamond, 14 karat white gold brooch; part of our diverse vintage emerald jewelry and estate jewelry collections. The brooch has a curvilinear organic design, bearing a central arrangement of fifteen claw set tapering baguette cut diamonds. This vintage brooch is further embellished with tiered individually claw set diamonds, in a combination of pear and modern brilliant round cuts. The subtly convex surface of the brooch is embellished with eight individually claw set marquise cut Zimbabwe emeralds, totalling 3.02cts, completing the design. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged double pin and sheath style fastening. The hinge of the pin is hallmarked with the 14k gold mark (585) and the brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 karat gold.
