Vintage 9.50ct Sapphire, 0.72ct Ruby & 1.00ct Diamond, 18k Yellow Gold Earrings c.1970

A stunning, fine and impressive pair of vintage 9.50 carat sapphire, 0.72 carat ruby and 1.00 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold earrings; part of our diverse collection of vintage gemstone jewellery. These stunning, fine and impressive vintage earrings have been crafted in 18k yellow gold. Each tapering, domed drop earring is ornamented to the apex with an impressive horizontal collet set oval cabochon cut sapphire, totalling 9.50cts. The surface of each earring is further ornamented with square and triangular cut rubies and diamonds, all collet set in an alternating arrangement. The central designs are flanked with paralleling bands of pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, completing the design. These vintage earrings, for pierced ears, secure to the reverse with a pin and hinged fastening. The earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold. The sapphire earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
